Hazardous waste

Hazardous waste consists of many different items containing substances and chemicals that can harm humans, animals and ecosystems if not treated properly. Some hazardous waste can be reprocessed for recycling.

At the recycling centre, you must sort the contents into the respective containers yourself. Hazardous waste is sent for destruction at specialised treatment facilities.
